A winter wedding sounds easy because white on white is the obvious answer, and that is exactly the trap.

Against snow, an all-white gown loses its shape entirely: everything reads as one pale mass and the detail you chose disappears. What saves a winter bride is a darker note somewhere, a wrap, a fur, a deep green in the flowers. There is also the practical half nobody plans for, which is that the outfit has to work outdoors for photographs in the cold.
