Every game here runs in the browser. Nothing to install, no account to make, no payment at any point: on a phone exactly like on a laptop.
What you can actually make here
Three different things get called a dress up game, and knowing which one you want saves a lot of clicking.
The first is the outfit game: a character is already drawn, and you choose what she wears. Tops, skirts, shoes, bag, hair, a background. The fun is in the styling, and a round takes about as long as picking a real outfit does.
The second is the character creator, sometimes called a doll maker or an avatar maker. Nothing is drawn yet. You build the face, the eyes, the skin tone, the hair, and only then dress it. What comes out is a character that did not exist before, which is why people use these to make a profile picture or an OC for a story.
The third is the makeover, where the point is the face rather than the clothes: makeup, nails, hair colour, a full look for one specific evening.
All three are here. Dress up and fashion are outfit games, doll creator is where the character makers live, and most of the makeover games sit inside the fashion shelf.
Making a profile picture or an OC
If you came looking for a PFP, go to doll creator first. Those are the games that let you change a face rather than a wardrobe, so what you end up with looks like a person you invented instead of a model someone else drew.
For an anime or manga style face, Mega Anime Avatar Creator and the Manga Creator pages are the two that go deepest on eyes and hair. For something softer, My Perfect Avatar Maker covers skin tones and face shapes properly. If the character is for a fantasy story rather than a profile, Mega Fantasy Avatar Creator adds ears, wings and horns.
Every one of them lets you screenshot the result. None of them asks you to sign in first.
The aesthetics, by name
Half of what people search for now is not a garment, it is a mood. Those all have games here.
Soft, pastel and deliberately sweet is kawaii: babycore, sanrio-adjacent, a lot of pink. Fairies, wings and flower crowns are fairycore, and they sit in fantasy along with mermaids, witches and vampires. Y2K, e-girl, dark academia, cottagecore and coquette turn up throughout fashion, usually attached to a specific scenario: a school hall, a photo shoot, a night out.
Ball gowns, coronations and school-hall drama are princess, which is closer to a story than to a wardrobe.
Nothing to install, nothing to sign
Everything runs in the browser. There is no download, no launcher, no account, and no point in the game where a payment screen appears. Most of the collection works on a phone as well as it does on a laptop, and the games that genuinely need a bigger screen are the character creators with a lot of small controls.
That also means nothing is stored about you. If you want to keep a look, take a screenshot, that is the only save these games have ever had.
Where to start
If you have no idea what you want, most played is ordered by how often each game is actually opened, not by what we would like you to play. New games is the other end: whatever arrived most recently, newest first.
Frequently asked questions
Are these dress up games really free?
Yes. Every game on the site is free to play, with no account, no download and no payment at any point. There is no premium tier and nothing is locked.
Do I need to download or install anything?
No. The games run in the browser, the same way a web page does. There is no app to install, no launcher and no plugin: you click a game and it starts.
Can I play these on my phone?
Most of them, yes. Outfit and makeover games are built for touch and work well on a phone. The character creators have a lot of small controls, so a tablet or a laptop is easier for those.
How do I save the character or outfit I made?
Take a screenshot. These games do not store anything on our side, so a screenshot is the save, and it is also the file you would upload as a profile picture.
Which games let me make a profile picture?
The ones in doll creator. Those let you change the face itself rather than only the clothes, which is what makes the result usable as a PFP for Discord, Instagram or a game account.
What is an OC, and can I make one here?
An OC is an original character: one you invented, for a story, a roleplay or fan art. The character creators are built for exactly that: you set the face, hair and body before you dress it.
Are dress up games only for girls?
No. The category is called girl games for historical reasons, but styling a character is not a gendered skill, and plenty of the games here let you build male characters too.
Do the old Flash games still work?
The ones we kept do. Flash itself is gone, so anything still on the site either runs natively in the browser or has been converted. If a game will not start, it has been retired rather than left broken.
