Two students have just moved in together, and before either wardrobe opens there is a shared room to decorate: bedding, wall pieces, storage and the small things that make one side of a dorm look different from the other. Then the two of them show each other their clothes and you pick outfits for the next day of classes.
Decorating a shared room is a different problem from decorating one. Give each side its own colour and repeat a single element across both, and the room reads as deliberate rather than divided.
