Mermaid dress up games

Make one from scratch

Coral Guardian Mermaid Maker is the deepest of them: four tail shapes, hair recoloured on its own palette, kelp and anemone skirts, a harp or a sceptre, and a shark circling behind her if you want one. Cute Mermaid works from the same principle, that a mermaid is designed rather than dressed, because the tail is a decision about her body and not about her clothes.

Or dress one who already exists

Ariel is the name most of this shelf is built around. Ariel Mermaid Fashion runs both halves of the problem, under the water where nothing has weight and on land where everything does. Ariel Underwater Sleepover takes the odder half seriously: loungewear that has to work when nothing hangs and everything drifts.

Comparisons, which is a genre of its own

Barbie Fairy Vs Mermaid Vs Princess puts the same girl through three costumes one after another, which is the quickest way to find out how much of a mermaid is the tail and how much is everything else. Divas On Pinterest Barbie Vs Ariel Vs Cindy runs the comparison across three characters instead.

Where to go next

Tails, wings and antlers all live together under fantasy. If you want to build the face before the tail, that is doll creator. Ariel's half of the shelf continues in princess.
