Barbie Is Going To Festival

Festival outfits are the most photographed and least comfortable clothes anybody puts on, and the good ones solve both.

Everything the look is built on, fringe, layers, boots, jewellery, is heavy or hot. Choosing which of those to keep is the real decision, and the outfits that read best are usually the ones where a single signature piece is doing the work and everything else is something you could stand up in for nine hours.

Play it as a practical problem rather than a styling one and the results get better, which is not what you would expect from a festival wardrobe.
