An autumn fair is outdoors for hours, which rules out most of what looks good in a photograph.
Boots that will be walked in. A coat that is genuinely warm rather than decorative. Layers, because the temperature will drop two hours before anybody wants to leave. Inside those limits, the styling happens in colour and texture, and the autumn palette is generous enough that this is not a hardship.
It is a more grounded brief than most seasonal games offer, and the outfits that come out of it are usually ones you could actually wear.
