Bridal design is really a small number of silhouettes, and once you can see them the whole category makes sense.

Ballgown, A-line, sheath, mermaid, empire. Each one does something specific to the proportion, and the decoration on top barely changes that. A heavily beaded sheath is still a sheath. Trying several in a row is the quickest way to see which shape suits which character, and it is much more instructive than adding detail to one.
