That split is the shape of the game: three interior design briefs, one per princess, and a contest outfit to pick for each of them afterwards. Decorating is the larger half, and the three spaces are deliberately unlike one another, an outdoor terrace, a small nursery and a big shared room, so a single decorating instinct will not carry all three. The nursery is the easy one to overfill.
