Friends who always dress together develop a shared wardrobe without noticing. Separate them and you find out how much of each one's style was actually her own.

That is the premise here and it makes for a better exercise than dressing a pair. Each character has to hold up alone, in her own setting, without the other one to balance her. Some of that borrowed style will look wrong the moment it is not being answered by somebody else.

Build them both, then put the two results side by side. The differences you did not plan are the interesting part.
