Indoors is the brief. Nobody in this game is going anywhere.

Four princesses are dressing for days spent at home, which sounds like a smaller job than a ball gown and is in fact a harder one. Home clothes have almost no structure to hide behind, so the outfit lives or dies on texture and colour: what the knit does against the cotton, whether the trousers and the top sit within a shade of each other.

Build outward from the softest item on the rail rather than picking a statement piece and dressing around it. Indoor clothes work the opposite way round from going out clothes.
