The design stage is what separates this from the rest of the Design My family. Crop tops here are cut down from t-shirts and tank tops rather than picked off a rail, so you are altering a piece instead of choosing one. Once the top exists it goes into a street style outfit, with jeans, shorts or a skirt as the base.
The waistline is the decision that matters. A high waisted base under a short top reads as deliberate, while a low waisted base with the same top just looks like the shirt shrank in the wash.
