The interesting version of this character is the one where the plant is not a costume.

Petals as hair, bark as skin texture, vines that grow rather than drape. Treat the greenery as part of her and the design gets much stronger than if you simply hang foliage on a princess. The wardrobe supports both readings, which makes the difference easy to see side by side.

Colour is the other half of it. Green on green needs something to break it up, and the game gives you flowers for exactly that job. One strong bloom placed well does more than a dozen scattered around.
